Review: Code of Conduct

20190718_CS01_Code of Conduct_White_KDP_FINAL

This book was so much fun! I love books that jump right into the action and this one delivers on that full force. Shane is a private investigator who ends up with a client who is connected to a client of Gabriel’s. They keep ending up in the vicinity of one another and their attraction is undeniable.

Shane isn’t sure she should trust Gabriel, but over and over she finds herself choosing to despite her typical aversion to trusting anyone. As Shane and Gabriel work together, will they find they can trust one another … or will their suspicious natures and secrets tear them apart?

I loved this story, especially Shane’s strength and determination no matter the situation. Both Shane and Gabriel had a lot of emotional trauma to overcome, and both had to make choices to tackle hard things in order to move forward in their lives. What a wonderful story from every angle!

ABOUT THE BOOK

There are three things you need to know about Shane P.I.

1) P.I. is not her last name, it’s her job title,

2) Her specialty is catching cheaters, and

3) She’s a superhuman – kind of.

Gabriel is a security expert for Cipher Security and a former UN Peacekeeper with a fierce protective streak that finds its focus on the beautiful P.I.

Their attraction is like an elephant in a room full of breakable things, and figuring out how to trust each other with their hearts, and maybe their lives, is the most fragile thing of all.
