Review: Hat Tricked

Hat Tricked is a sweet, swoony hockey romance that delivers heart, humor, and plenty of feels. Thomas King, the charming but misunderstood hockey star, and Hazel Cast, the resilient single mom, are a perfect opposites-attract pair. Their fake dating arrangement is packed with hilarious moments, slow-burn tension, and tender growth as they both heal and find new hope.

A. K. Isaac does a wonderful job balancing the lighthearted fun of the fake relationship trope with deeper emotional layers. If you love sports romances with heart, Hat Tricked is a total win!

ABOUT THE BOOK

SOMETIMES YOU HAVE TO FAKE IT TILL YOU MAKE IT

As the star forward for the Colorado Blizzards, Thomas King is the top player, both on and off the ice. He’s never had trouble getting women to go on dates with him. The problem is that they never seem to be interested in a second one. So he knows there’s no way the woman of his dreams would be interested in him.

Hazel Cast didn’t exactly dream of becoming a single stay-at-home mom, but life can come at you fast sometimes, and Hazel loves her kid more than life itself. But the death of her husband has left her mostly alone and completely unsure of how to move forward. And moving forward with the biggest playboy she’s ever met would be a mistake, even if he’s all she can think about.

But after a fun night out together as friends, the media is left thinking that Thomas and Hazel are together… so why not continue the ruse? Thomas can fix his reputation and Hazel can practice dating. No strings attached.

Could it be that a little practice goes a long way?
