I was so excited when MacLean announced she was writing a book inspired loosely by Succession. I do think think it was a bit harder to keep tension and pacing in book format versus tv, however I still thoroughly enjoyed the family drama.
The inheritance setup was classic billionaire games and Alice’s one night stand that shows up to manage it? The best tension in the book.
