Wow. I have not loved a book this much in a while! The Wake-Up Call is Beth O’Leary at her finest. It’s full of mystery and charm, longing and … hating. Izzy and Lucas are hilarious in their absolute contempt for one another at the beginning of the story. As it is revealed how this came about, it becomes obvious that there is much more going on here than either of them are fully aware of. O’Leary does a wonderful job dropping bits of information throughout the story so it is slowly revealed and you are able to piece together but by bit what has happened. I don’t want to give anything away. Just know, this one is 100% worth reading!
