This was slow to get moving, but once it did I enjoyed the story! Unfortunately, a death in my extended family made this an especially hard read for me as it deals with themes of loss and grief. They are handled carefully and tenderly, though. Watching Florence walk through her hurt and grief was also healing in many ways and I really enjoyed her character’s journey. This is quite possibly my favorite of Poston’s books so far.
